IT Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Technician to support on-site installations, structured cabling projects, SaaS environment support, and MSP-related service operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with networking hardware, cable infrastructure, cloud-managed systems, multi-client MSP environments, and help desk ticket management. This role requires a technician who can operate independently in the field, resolve complex issues efficiently, and maintain strong documentation within a ticketing system.

Responsibilities
- Work independently with minimal supervision, managing daily responsibilities and field or onsite tasks efficiently
- Manage ticketing system and document support tickets, resolutions, and procedures
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT, network, and low-voltage systems as assigned
- Assist with pulling, labeling, and terminating Ethernet, coaxial, and security cabling
- Install, configure, and support audiovisual (AV) and point-of-sale (POS) systems in accordance with project requirements
- Assist with the installation and setup of security cameras, NVR systems, and related equipment
- Offer constructive suggestions to improve company methods, procedures, and overall operational effectiveness
Must Have
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience
- 1-3 years hands-on experience running and terminating Ethernet cabling
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites
- Ability to work in tight spaces, including ceilings, crawl spaces, network closets, and under desks
- Comfortable working at heights, including use of ladders and lifts when required

Prior experience with:
Experience with brands such as Ubiquiti, Cisco, HPE, TP-Link, Aruba, Control4, Crestron, Axis, Hikvision, RingCentral, Toast, and similar industry-standard systems.
POS, AV and CCTV system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting

Trainings
We provide hands-on, on-the-job training covering structured cabling for copper and fiber systems, low-voltage installations, network fundamentals, and real-world troubleshooting. Our training includes aerial equipment operation, manufacturer-specific equipment training, and proper tool and testing equipment usage. Employees are also trained in reading blueprints, floor plans, and rack layouts, as well as customer-site professionalism and documentation standards. For applicable projects, we provide government and secure-site compliance training, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling and security requirements.
